SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Candle and Wax Melts - Do's and Dont's
When lighting your candle for the first time, ensure the wick is trimmed to ¼ inch, and allow the candle to burn for around two hours before extinguishing to ensure there is an even melt pool.
Always put your candles on a heat resistant surface.
Ensure your candles are in a candle holder and in a stable position.
Ensure candles are away from flammable objects ie curtains, fabrics and furniture.
Keep candles away from draughts.
Keep candles out of reach from pets and children.
Do not place candles in confined spaces or under shelves.
Do not burn multiple candles too close to each other.
Do not move burning candles. Ensure the candle is fully extinguished before moving.
Do not leave candles burning and unattended.
Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
Do not let your candle burn right to the bottom of the container, always discontinue use when roughly ½ inch of wax is still in the container.
Wax Melt Safety
Always check your burner before use for any damage or cracks.
Ensure your burner is on a heat proof surface and away from flammable objects ie curtains, fabrics etc.
Never over fill your burner.
Never add water to your burner.
Do not use with scented tea lights – always use unscented tea lights.
Ensure your burner is out of each from children and pets.
Keep away from draughts.
Remember, burners get very hot, please do not attempt to move until it has cooled down completely.
